I bow down to the lotus feet of Sri Krishna.

O' my teacher, I seek refuge, I bow down!

O' my teacher, you embody my blessings,

you are the source of my joy,

you are my immortal stream of Shiva, I bow down!

areṇyaṁ vareṇyaṁ sureśaṁ rameśam |

O' my teacher, you are worthy of respect,

you are the best, you are the god of gods,

you are the Shiva, I bow down to your three forms!

I know not how to chant, nor do I know meditation,

O' my teacher, I bow down to the form of Shiva!

ghaṭākāśaguptaṁ mahākāśarūpam |
cidākāśavyaktaṁ gurudeva namāmi ||

O' my teacher, you are concealed in the darkness of the sky,

you are the form of the infinite space,

then you are expressed in my conscience, I bow down!

akalpaṁ anūpaṁ tapantaṁ digantam |
agogocarāṇāṁ gurudeva namāmi ||

O' my teacher, you are beyond imagination,

you are beyond comparison,

you are the culmination of all austerities,

you are the destination of all seekers of knowledge,

I bow down!

siddhiḥ agamyaṁ tava pādapadme |
pravuddhaṁ śubheśaṁ gurudeva namāmi ||

O' my teacher, skills are trivial at your lotus feet,

you are the learned one, you are the well-wisher,

I bow down.
